On May 10, 2025, the annual Télévie event culminated in a lively auction known as the "Disques d’Or," hosted by the beloved Christian De Paepe. This year marked the 33rd edition of the auction, which took place in the studios of Bel RTL from 9 AM to 1 PM. The event, broadcasted across multiple platforms including RTL tvi and RTL Play, brought together a host of celebrities and generous donors, all united for a noble cause: raising funds for cancer research.

As the morning unfolded, De Paepe welcomed several of his colleagues who presented various gold records and auction items, drawing attention to the heartfelt contributions from both artists and listeners. This year, the auction raised an impressive total of 333,155 euros, a significant sum that reflects the generosity of the audience and the artists involved.

Among the standout contributions was a staggering donation of 105,000 euros made by François and Nadia, who secured an exclusive meeting with the renowned singer Lara Fabian. This unique opportunity included not only a personal encounter but also an interview that would be aired on Bel RTL, along with two tickets to her concert. The excitement surrounding this offer sent bids soaring, showcasing the strong connection between fans and artists.

The auction featured a variety of items that appealed to music lovers and collectors alike. Notably, Santa's gold record for "Recommence-moi" fetched 37,000 euros, while Roch Voisine's autographed jacket, worn during the filming of the "Hélène" music video, was sold for 5,000 euros. Finally, Héléna's gold record for "Mauvais garçon" concluded the auction with a sale of 19,000 euros. The collective efforts of all participants resulted in a remarkable contribution to the Télévie initiative, which aims to support cancer research and raise awareness about the disease.

Reflecting on the day, De Paepe expressed his deep emotional connection to the event, stating, "It’s so full of emotions. Everyone talks to me about it all the time. Many tell me they never miss it, that they are in front of the TV watching the numbers climb." He emphasized the importance of this event, not just as a fundraiser but as a moment of unity and remembrance for those affected by cancer.
